Arley
A clever air sensor that ‘sees’ what we cannot. He translates the science of air into colors: green means clean air, yellow means caution, red means time to clean the air!
Want to talk to me about the air we breathe?
Arley is a smart and very clever air sensor with the superpower of ‘seeing’ what our eyes cannot. With his compact body and his magic lights, he is always on watch to make sure the space is safe for playing and learning.
Arley’s mission is to translate the science of air into colors that everyone understands:
- 🟢 Green Light: The sign of victory! The air is nice and clean and the villains are gone.
- 🟡 Yellow Light: Full attention! Arley is warning us that the air is starting to feel heavy and we need to stay alert.
- 🔴 Red Light: Time to clean the air! The air outside may be polluted, or opening the windows may not be an option.

Amigos do Ar
Arley, Nuvem Pipoca and Oxigenius invite little ones (ages 0-3) to play, sing and move — showing that breathing fresh, clean air feels good from waking up to bedtime.
📚 Teaching notes — themes, curriculum and activities
IAQ theme: Introduction to air quality: fresh, clean air linked to well-being, joy and a healthy routine.
Curriculum connections: Early childhood education, Music, Language and Science.
Learning goals: Develop body awareness and consciousness of breathing; link clean air to positive sensations; build friendship bonds.
Suggested activities: Circle talk about the presence of air; drawing the characters; conscious breathing exercises (inhale/exhale).
Characters: Arley, Nuvem Pipoca and Oxigenius
Acarão e a DER
Acarão shows where dust mites live (rugs, mattresses, cushions) and the clumsy DER explains why their residues trigger allergies — and how cleaning reduces exposure.
📚 Teaching notes — themes, curriculum and activities
IAQ theme: Dust mites and allergenic residues (DER); preventing respiratory conditions through environmental control.
Curriculum connections: Biology (microorganisms), Chemistry (proteins) and Math (scale).
Learning goals: Understand the "invisible"; identify dust-mite hotspots; learn deep-hygiene preventive measures.
Suggested activities: Watching particles in sunlight; collective list of dust build-up spots at school.
Characters: Acarão, DER, Arley and Zuppy
